Well Richard when your a 3rd generation rodder you spend most of your time badgering "geezers" for help with your rods. Theres far to few my age that has ever owned a rear wheel drive vehicle let alone a hot rod or know how to fix the simplest thing without calling "the man" to do it. Its hard to connect to others my age when their idea of performance is rims, tires,radio and bolt on fiberglass.
