    i'm here...

hey guys, i'm a Marine stationed in Jville, NC at MCAS New River. i got a 82 chevy longbed. it's had a motor swap, all i know is it's a 350, i'm assuming its an early 70's or older 350 because the dipstick is on the drivers side of the engine. it's my project truck, no timeline, and i want it to sound good and look good. a cam cutting a lick, nice sounding pipes, and raked look.

    thanks for listening, junk

That's right...I drive an 87 Long bed. The chicks like to be able to stretch out on a sleeping bag in the bed. Can't do that in a short bed I swear to this day that's what caught my future wife. Alan Jackson sings a song about being a pickup man. I wouldn't trade mine for a cadillac either.

thanks man. i've got a lot of wiring problems from the original owner, when he did the motor swap, but that door is the worst rust spot on the whole truck. and when i say wiring problem, i mean that they're wires running down from the alternator in the valley between the carb and valve cover, just 5 or 6 wires(all red no less) just laying there. but that kind of wiring is all over the truck. anyway thanks man.

    later, junk
