Welcome to the new guy!!! I'm a pretty new guy myself because I haven't been on very much. I seem to be too busy trying to stay avove the bills. Just so you all know a bit about me..I'm 51 so I've gotten to play MUSCLECAR in real time!!! I still have the '57 150 2dr wagon I bought in 1969...the kicker...I've never driven it!!!! I'm a '57 and Nova guy from back then. I street drove and drag raced a '69 350 Nova SS called "Nova II Late" when I was in the "Southern Nevada Timing Assn." (this is the car club Ken Black, who owns the Vegas General Pro Stock NHRA champ car, was in). The sad thing about this car...it was a Berger Chevrolet car!!! I got it to 13:25 once! Would be worth a fortune now, dang it, this is why I never throw anything away now. I also had a '63 Nova SS convertible, and a '56 4dr when I was in the last draft. They all were sold but for the '57, sniff, sniff. I presently have a '69 stepside that I've had since '76. I'm the second owner. The first was Area 51 where it was a security truck!!! If it could speak... I drive it daily and it shows, I need to restore it. We also have a '50 stepside for which I've just gotten a heavy-half '68 frame. This is Patricia's truck. We also have a '63 Nova SS that we're going to sell along with a '64 SS parts car and many parts. The sleeper here is that I have, what I understand to be, a very rare car. It is a '68 Nova SS. It has a 350, Muncie 4spd, posi, console gauges w/ tach. The only thing it would've needed to be "loaded" would've been discs. It did have stock SS caps on 14' wheels. I've never seen these caps and I'm a Nova guy, so... It is a Cal. car so it even has smog! It is now in need of restoration as well. I'm a salesperson now at Everett Chevrolet in Everett, Wa. I live in Arlington, Wa. I'm also watching the "Garage" thread as well because I'd like to do mine up someday. Hope I didn't write too much but oddly enough I had some time today. Have a great Holiday season all of you and please think always of our service people!
