Thanks Don!! Southampton is about 5 minutes north of philly. Overcrowded, overrated, overtaxed. Can't wait to get away. LOL. I have some pics I can post if you guys don't mind camaros. I know it is a rod site, but it looked so tempting to join......lol

Nah, we are lovers of everything automotive on here (well, maybe not ricers or jacked up cars with huge wheels and tires.
) ProZ is building an outstanding Camaro drag car, and others have them or similar cars too.
You must be near Doyletown? My Sister used to live there.

Welcome to CHR MagicRatt, we love photos and don't much care what kind of vehicle it is. You and your Camaro are welcome even if it is a street machine. We got plenty of them here along with a bunch of other cars. So pull up a chair, sit back and enjoy yourself.
Always good to see a fellow Pennsylvanian here.

I didn't see a picture section so I figured this was as good a place as any. This is my pride and joy. I used to street race and drag race this car all the time. It is a numbers matching 70 SS 396 L-78 Camaro. I bought the car when I was 19, back in 1985. This car is a blast to drive on the street and yes, I did compete with the original motor still in the car today.

This was the next racer. I picked up this 79Z as an unfinished project and built it similar to the green 70. The motor is just a 402 with 12 to 1, solid cam and rec port heads. The trans is a Muncie M-22 Supercase 4 speed with a 9 inch rear and 5.00 gears.

I finished the 79Z just as the 2005 season was coming to an end. I am hoping to run 12.00's this season competing in a local heads up class.
