Newbie from Canada
Hello all of you.
I just recently bought a 1947 Pontiac Silverstreak and plan on hot Rodding it.
This site seems very educational and hope to learn alot from it.
Take careLast edited by paqs; 03-09-2007 at 02:27 PM.

welcome to CHR! Without a doubt you will learn a lot. The easiest way is to ask good questions. Nearly everyone here will be happy to share their opinions.

Welcome to CHR. And speaking of learning, I really hope your are not planning on working on that car while it is sitting on those concrete blocks!!!!! They are not safe at all.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!

It could have been sitting on them for 500 years, but the very instant you crawl under the car, they're gonna break. Murphy's Law.

Just found out this car is rare. A 2 door sedan is hard to come by and one guy even says its 1 of 148 plus its a 46 not a 47.
Looks like I wont be rodding this one afterall
Restore this one back to original and then look for another one.
