    how much for the 291 and what shape is it in?

    As is, $500. Complete from carb to oil pan. Dropped a valve, did no damage to rocker or piston. Has about 3000 miles on rebuild. Is now at machine shop, but work not stated.
    Has the very rare 4bbl intake and carb. Engine was from 55 DeSoto.
