moggy minor
Hi
i,m simon and along with my 12 year old son jack we are building a 1966 morris minor "rat rod".
The running gear will remain standard for now to keep costs down,
but the body will be satin black,it has a red interior ,wheels will be powdercoated red with chrome rings and hood and trunk will be pinstriped.
When it,s finished i will post some pics on here.
Oh and we live in devon uk.
thank,s.

Greetings madmoggy. Welcome to CHR, but I don't know if you're going to find a lot that's useful to you on this forum. Having said that, I sincerely hope you do! There are many genuinely helpful people here.
A couple of sites that could be of possible interest:
http://www.minormania.com
and http://morrisminoroc.co.uk

Welcome ,There are alot of things similar on every car ,bushings ,shocks paint and electrical,I am sure you will find some good help here.I would watch posting that stuff on a morissminor forum ,they tend to get a little freakish about modifications to there cars !!
My buddie has one with a tubular frame and a dual quad 327 ,tubbed rear and custom interior. The purists get agitated when they see it and walk away shaking there heads. On a side note Jay Lenno liked it!!!Even stoped by to sit down in it and pose for a pic!Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Dang! Just re-read my initial post.....it sounded like I was giving you the brush-off. Didn't mean it to read like that.....sometimes you write something and it doesn't come out quite like you mean....I actually was trying to be helpful, and give you a broad band of potential information.
On the minor mania site you'll find B.M.C., the Bastardised Minor Club, where Minor V8s are relatively common.
I run a minor myself, have for years, our current one is a 49 lolight with rice-eater running gear.
Please don't think I was trying to snub you.
