    another new gearhead

     



    Hello everyone,
    I'm new to this forum, and I think I'm supposed to say hello. I'm an artist who gets his kicks from drawing horsepower. I'm not quite sure what that means, but it sounded good in my head. Iv'e been into cars since I was a kid, and have had my share of em. Unfortunately enough for me, I discovered I was better with a brush, than I was with a welding rod. So now I spend most of my free time illustrating them for mechanics who know a hell of a lot more than me. Here are a few samples of my work. The truck, and toolbox are pen and ink. while the bucket is ballpoint pen. Hopefully you can zoom in to see the details.

    Welcome ,there are several members on this board who do different art work type things.Those are some nice detailed drawings.
    Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

    Awsome drawings, you are really talented with a brush/pen/pencil as some of us are talented with a spanner. I notice the top and bottem drawings have an isometric ???? view. Is that the term for perspective. I dont draw much myself though.
