    Well my name is bubba. I live in north carolina. i am a future student of hedgecock racing academy for chassis and sheetmetal fabrication. i dont have a "rod" just yet but i do have my babe... a 1970 nova. 4 bolt 350, t-10 tranny, and a 9" rear... just to name some stuff... i want so bad to move o california and get into the rat rod/ rockabilly culture. i want to work at a rod shop sooo bad. well i guess thats enough said.

    Hey Bubba, welcome. Sounds like you are moving on the right track with you schooling and all.

    I lived in Winston-Salem for a year then took a transfer to southern California. It had been my dream all my life too. Found out we couldn't afford to live there, even though I was making twice what I had been, and the pace is really fast. I'm kind of a country boy, so 8 lanes of traffic in the AM was tough to take, so a year later we moved out. Nothing against California, but it was just not what I thought it would be.
