Hey everybody I am very glad that i found this site. I am 18 years old and love cars and everything about them atlesat old cars anyways the newer ones all look the same to me atleast. I have recently decided that I dont want to be a doctor anymore and that I would rather work on cars for the rest of my life so I am goign to go a school where I can learn the skills I need to be successful. I am just a poor boy though that works all the time so I know it may be years before I finish my first because I will need to work to make the money to pay for it. And the biggest thing I hate about the classic car world is those that trailer their car everywhere and those that pay way to much money for a car that is just going to sit in their garage for a year or two and then return to the barret jackson or some other auction block. These tihngs were meant to be driven and driven hard at that, otherwise would god have given us a brain and an imagination to make our dreams.

Why not do both ?Stay in school ,you will need it to be succesful. About engines,theres a couple of books that are worth reading also.

I agree with BTD. There are many kinds of Doctors. If you have the desire you can do both! I don't know what kind of Doctor you are wanting to be but remeber a Surgeon is specialized kind of mechanic!
