    hello
    I have a 1949 caddy with a 529 cuin caddy engine.
    I use this car for drag racing.
    My cad runs 11:40's@116mph
    I may be the only caddy racer here, but thats ok.

    ive got a box stock 500 in a 27 heavy t bucket that i run at out local airstrip/track,they shure are axle twisters!!!

    Good to hear about the fast running Caddy.

    I've planned on Chrysler or Chev in my car until a friend and I discussed it... the Caddy seems too good to pass up and the price is right.

    I have a 1952 Plymouth two door... that I and a friend are planning on replacing the shot flat head six with a 500 CI Caddy with OD automatic. I'm still getting parts together, and don't know how long it'll take.

    Plans are a mild street cam, intake, AFB/Edlbrock Carb., HEI dist., Hugger type headers and Power steering, A/C, power brakes with hydraboost brake system from diesel Caddy. Presently, my focus will be on getting it streetable and then adding interior, and exterior later.

    I have a 78 Nova subframe I just picked up and or a 76-78 Camaro subframe available. The Camero might be easier to use as the frame horns wern't kicked out for the bumper like the Nova was. Both are with disc brakes and power steering. The plan is to use hydra boost and pump for brakes. Hoping to find the parts for disc on all four corners. Don't have the hop up parts for the engine yet... but a little at a time...

    Need to know which is best, 9" Ford or 8 3/4 Mopar to pick up the rear?

    Most of the parts will be used. Engine and drive train will be gone through.

    I also am working on my brother's 49 Plymouth 4 door Special Deluxe and need parts for that too.
