Great place to be.
I've had old cars for 45 years. My first was when I was 14 - a non running 35 Ford roadster - which I had to sell because we moved. Then a 31 Model A coupe when I was 15 and 16 which I sold to get a 40 Ford fordor with a warmed up flathead. A channelled 34 three widow with a 3/4 race flathead. Then I had a 40 Ford tudor into which I swapped a 324 Olds. Just sold that ride 3 summers ago. Also had a 53 Pontiac with a 394 Olds. I have been searching for the right body to build a chopped/channelled hot rod if my big old body will fit. I just bought two early 30's Nashes. A 30 tudor and a 32 (I think) fordor. I will be using the 30 tudor for my build. I will be bringing them home in about a month after I get my garage winterized and wired. Hope to pick up a lot of info here. Does any body know where the serial numbers are located on these cars? I know that the body numbers are on the firewall but not where the frame serial numbers are located.
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
