Man I got to go with Bob on that. I remember those wheels.....every once in a while I would get parts car or whatever in with them, and either put them on the next car I sold or use them as rollers to get a car to the crusher.

Just my opinion on this generation of Chevy full size 2dr post cars is they made such great sleepers (and generally neat cars) BECAUSE they are so unassuming. Anything that draws attention to them such as other than stock wheels, hood scoops etc takes away from that.

The payoff on owning one of these is the surprise from the unexpecting when you walk away from them at a stop light and/or open the hood.

I'd post some more pictures my old 65 if I had any, but it seems they disappeared about the time the second wife became an EX-Wife. GO figure.
