Hi, I am Shrug. I live in Laveen, AZ (SW corner of Phoenix).
I currently own a 1965 Chrysler Newport which is both my daily driver and a project.
I believe cars should be driven, not just looked at.
I recently sold my 65 Chevy C10, and my 53 Chevy 210 Sedan.
I am now 41 and have been tinkering with cars since I was 15.
Whenever possible I like to do everything myself, from electrical to full engine rebuilds. I have given up on trannys since every time I take one apart, I can never seem to get it back together
Photos of my current and some of my recent projects may be seen on my website: Forgotten Classics

I really like cars that not a lot of people have, and I really believe in keeping the original engine in a car.

My 53 had the original striaght six in it, and my Packard had the original flathead straight 8.

I am really tired of seeing every other hot rod at a show with a SBC in it, and if I see any more 69 Chevelles or 65 Mustangs, or 57 Chevys, I may be ill. Nothing wrong with the cars, there are just too many of them.

A lot of great cars came out of the 50s and 60s that are just forgotten, hence the name of my website.

I am a computer tech as well as a web and graphic designer, but my true love are cars (well after my wife that is).

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. Hi!

Shrug
