    Hello All

My dream is to make my galaxie run with the big dogs! I'm starting with a 429 stroked????, with d0ve heads for now. I've got a 63 bench seat, rubber floor mat, no crome, custom 300, post car, white with red interior. I'm going to do as many thunderbolt mods as I can. Specifically tear drop hood, bright light cold air snorkels. It will be a street car at first. I'm not sure how far of a race car it will become because I like to drive my cars on the street.
    Allright guys... peal out!

Welcome. '63's are really pretty cars, and can be made to haul with big block power. The 63 & 1/2 cars were really terrific.

Send some pictures when you get a chance.

    Thanks guys,
Don, I will but don't expect much the car is still in original paint, and hub caps (cool huh)! I still have the add on air (dosent work though). I'm gonna keep the interior as stock as possible. Hopefully I can get the car in the 11.0's without a cage. Just want the car to freak people out when I put the pass on them. I have lots of work to do but it will get done.

Welcome to CHR. Sounds like a fun project, 63's are such nice cars!! Wouln't mind finding a builder myself someday should I ever run out of projects. We just got done dynoing a 460 in a '67 Comet that I built back in 95. Friend of mine owns it now, the car is putting 500+ horse to the ground!!!
