You win some, and you win some.

Hello to all. Once in a while surfing this cyber galaxy you find a gem. Looks like this site / forums might be one of them.

I've got a 66 Chev Caprice, 2 dr HT, 327 with double hump heads, 129K miles, and still a sweet ride. Not much of a market for the Caprice out there that I have seen, so I drive it daily and enjoy knowing that I have a unique ride.

I'm gradually modding it a little. First order of business is to get a decent sound system installed and convert to dual exhaust. I'm also looking for the best route to go with airbag suspension (any leads here are appreciated). Somewhere down the line will come interior and body mods, and maybe someday . . . big block?

Until then, I'll keep lurking around here and enjoy the learning, and the memories.

Since I am the only one awake at this unGodly hour, I'll begin the greetings. Welcome to the forum.

I don't know a lot about bagging, but my kid has done a bunch of cars for himself and customers, so if you have any specifics, post them and I'll get you the info. I know there are different valves, etc depending if you want to just drop and raise the car, or make it hop. On the Caprice I would guess you are just looking for the ability to slam it then change to ride height.

    Where are you located?

Keep hanging around, lots of nice people on here.

Welcome Sleeper. Those Caprice were nice looking cars. I had a chance to own either a 66 like your or a 65 chevy super sport which I bought. Wish I still had it.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Hopping wouldn't be out of the question. However, I'd mainly like to make it ride better, and slam it down for looks.

I'll try to post some pictures here. This may take a while - keep looking for a new post.

BTW - location is Aurora, Nebraska
