    ...another newb

    Hey,

My name's Erik, I'm new to this forum, but not forums in general. I'm 23 years old. Been working on cars since i was 16. I've got 3 years of vo-tech and a year of college for automotive. I'm also a light wheel mechanic in the Army reserve. I worked at sears auto center for 4 years and advance auto for almost 2 now.

I came here to get some advice on getting the most out of my camaro. I know it's not a hot rod persay, but the engine is all old school, no computer.

I've also got a 98 jeep cherokee, lifted with some mods, a 90 Taurus SHO with a whole bunch of mods. I just smashed it up though, so the drivetrain and suspension will be going into a 93 SHO. And last and certainly the least, a 51 Packard 200 sedan that I'm trying to get rid of.

    Jus' a little bout me!

Flowtech shorty headers w/ wrapped primaries, 3" single exhaust, no cat, flowmaster cat back exhaust. Accel distributor & pro-sleeve wires. Goodmark steel cowl hood, AR Torq-Thrust II's 17x8.

'51 Packard... Make me an offer!

I have more pics of it, but I can't figure out how to get them onto my photobucket page.

Hey the Packard is nothing to be ashamed of. It's not a hotrod but definately not that bad. Looks like with a little help it could be alot of fun. Looks as though someone could enjoy it as it is and I would bet for alot less money than a merc.

Hmmmmmmm. Dropped a few inches, clean up the grille, lose the fog lights, chrome wheels, simple suede paint job, get rid of the bumper guards and hood ornament.

    THIS THING COULD BE COOL.

    and different.

Hrm... I agree, sell that SHO and build a fat nasty for the packard and make a giant killer out of it! That thing could be a helluva snoozer against those teenage pocket rocket punks
