From one Ken to another, WELCOME. All our closets are full of old bones,
mine only bother me if I rattle 'em.
But seriuosly folks. LOL! Well it was a 1958 when I heard Duane Eddy's Rebel Rouser. It climbed the charts quicker than you can say Lonnie MAck. Well that is what we started out as I knew Teddy Johnson from The Flips and the Teddy Bears. Maybe some of you old timers remember "To know him is To Love Him" He and jazz masternubd Rich Polodor andd Art Laboe had a hot 45 with the song TEEN Beat. See I knew those guys.
Well We got into the surf scene and became a big in the local cities when the Pyramids got there breeak. They hit #18 on the charts with one of my favotites. Penetration was the name. I still have the 45 and I was in Bakini Beach right when Skip Mercxier did a summersalut while playing his guitar.
Hot Doggett
Thanks guysHappy.
