    Question Old car titles

I'm looking to buy a 1922 Cleveland title. My grandpa Cleveland was distantly related to the Clevelands of Cleveland Ohio who began the car company that was part of Chandler. Finding a Cleveland will probably be out of the question, but at least I should be able to find a title. Who should I check with? Where are some places to look? Vendors?

Ron, this is one of those difficult things to find. And there's an age factor working here. The absolute best place I could suggest is look for old title vendors in Hemmings. And if I were you I'd run a wanted ad for the Cleveland title being specific. Run it for as long as you need to, at least a year if one doesn't turn up right away. Deals like this are found by one guy reading your ad, and then two, three, maybe six months later coming across one and the light goes on in his head. If he's seen your ad for a few months running he knows you're serious, and he knows he can find you quickly.
