Water spots can be right in the glass(or paint, too.) The water drops form little lenses, and the sunlight actually cooks the substance under the drop. If that's what's happened, they won't come out.
thanks for the info. R pope, I think thats whats happening here cause I've tried CLR,vineger,thinner,rubbing comp. and lots of elbow grease,Nata!! I'll be tinting most of the windows but the driver side window is bad and I can only go so dark,I guess I'll have to live with some for a while or replace them,it's just a work horse but I still want it to look nice.....
