Hello folks!
i live "over here" in Norway. My family is kinda known as the local Mopar guys in town. So, I've never been THAT interested in Ford's and Chevy's, but as i drove by a house on my way to work about two years ago, I saw a Comet for the first time in my life couple of weeks later it was mine, without motor and tranny tough. the picture are from when it still was at the old owners place. The special about my Comet is the front. It is off a -60 Ford Falcon. I've also got drivetrain from a volvo installed on my Comet. Since Sweden makes Volvo's, and is our "neighbour" we naturally got enough Volvos around. The positive thing about Volvo's is the brakes (disc brakes). and the 5-lug wheels.

Since I bought the Comet there has never been any discussion about the engine. It's gonna be a v8

I'm pretty far making it driveable. I bought an 2V-original from some Mustang guy here, and rebuilt it this winter with a 4 venturi Holley carb. and edelbrock performer cam and intake. Since the engine are from -71 i've also ported the exhaust ports a little bit. According to Desktop Dyno2000, my 302 should be +/- 300 hp.

It will be driven daily when it finishes. Due to high gas-prices over here i'm trying to keep the consumption as low as possible.
