Rookie of the year.. You have some big ideas and I think it's great, but at 16 you've got to be practical.$$$$$$$$ and lots of it. Back when I was your age junk yards had tons of motors, not the big engines of later maybe a 348 or 409 but mostley ford flatties and sbc. The best place to look for engines and parts is on the internet. Matter of fact I just saw a 406 go for $200.00. Granted it's going to need work but whoever bought it has a engine block to work on. I agree with you on the ricers, I don't like them either and the sound of a big block like tech and Denny say is the way to go. Good luck with your project.
