    Hello everyone

    Hello everyone,

I just found the website a couple weeks ago and have enjoyed it ever since. Yall seem like a group of highly knowledgable people. Well I am 19 and have grew up working on cars all my life with my dad. Right now I have got a 96 dakota that I bought. But we have got several cars setting that I have thought of building up for a strip car and would like some ideas. One is a 72 mustang 302, and the other is a 76 monza I have always been a chevy fan so I was thinking about the monza more.

Welcome Loren,,,I'd go with the 350cu, Monza too!!
They look meaner,,and there are tons of aftermarket performance peices you can get for them.

    Thumbs up

Definately the Monza. Jet black, little chrome, tinted windows, tubbed & dropped,... Oh yeah, meaaaaaan!
I dig ALL cars, old & new, whether they were hammered out of american iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.

    But thats just my opinion.

I think you ought to go with both. Use the monza as a base car and the mustang as a backup. Last time i checked, there were 302 parts all over too

I think you should build the Monza and give me the Mustang.... When can I come pick it up????

Both cars would be a fun build, me being a Ford guy I would have to go with the Mustang, but that's just me.

Whicever of the two you decide to build they are of course both unibodies and would benefit significantly from frame ties and maybe even a 6 point roll bar to stiffen the car up.
