    New Shade Tree'er

    Hi guys, hows it going? Ive been a member here for 4 days now and already I am really enjoying CHR. I have found out alot of info about my project truck and just my general hot roddin interests. My current project is my first truck a 1968 Ford F-250 P/U with 360/C6 combo. I am planing to a these parts to achieve around 310 HP;
    Holley 650cfm
    Holley 2inch spacer
    1967 Fairlane GTA Edelbrock 4V Intake
    Comp Cams 268H (.494lift 218@.50)
    Ford HD Police series valve springs
    Comp Cams High Energy Lifters
    Davis Unified Ignition H.E.I. Conversion w/50,000 volt coil
    MSD 8mm HeliCore plug wires and bousch platinum plugs
    Dynomax Long Tube headers w/ 3inch exhaust
    NV4500 Dodge 5 speed tranny
    Stock 390 Crank and Rods which should bring it out to about 385 cubes.
    Of course I have to wait to start the build until I get back to the states from Iraq with the Army. Anyway I hope to make some friends here on CHR.com.

    Welcome to CHR, Mechanix. Sounds like a nice project. You might want to consider just starting with a 390 engine and at least a set of 4V heads.
