Nice board. Looking for info on Northstar swap into ElCamino. Been fooling with cars since the 50's so may have some answers for folks with old iron.
If it aint broke, work on it some more.

Welcome to CHR, Alleycat. Should be an interesting swap. Some rep showed me a flyer with all the pertinent info on installing a Northstar motor and using a 700R4 behind it. Now if I could either remember who the dude was, or who he worked for........

Thanks guys for the welcome. Got the Northstar ready, and a 700 r4 to build. Just fishing for ideas about plumbing and wiring. I want to have it all working on paper before pulling the old 4.3L out.

    northstar

street rodder magazine had an article a couple of years ago about the northstar. It seems like they are missing a bolt hole and flange for the bellhousing. heliarc required. which gm parts work best for a front to back conversion. they listed a couple of shops the specialize in northstars. stuff to make it all work right and dress up stuff
