    Newbie with a 68 t-bird 429

I am 22 and just getting back into the hotrod scene! i crossed over to the darkside of imports for awhile! I used to have a 69 camaro SS that was all stock and perfect condish but it was mine and my dads and he wanted to sell! but i joined the air force in 01 and have met alot of car guys since, so now i am purchased a 68 t-bird with a nice running 429 thunderjet! body as a few dings nothing major and the paint is faded but i can do that part! the part that is goin to suck is suspension and refurbing the interior! it has the bench front seat which is in need of alot of help but the electric slides on it work great! back seat is mint and the carpet needs replaced! i am goin to cut alot on the dash and go with brushed aluminum and white face gauges and i work on aircraft in the military so i am goin to get a red gaurded switch from work and use it along with my push button ignition! as for the exterior i am goin with black and instead of the vinyl top i am goin to have the top painted either ice white or pearl...i cant decide! and for wheels i am looking into 19x10 in the rear and 18x8 in the front but they will be muscle car rims! not like that crap you see spinning! Right now though i am looking for a catalog for parts for my car if anybody knows of where i can get one please let me know!!! thank you

Welcome, Cody. Just do a google search for "68 T-bird Parts" and/ or "Ford 429 engine parts" and you'll have about 2.6 gazillion places to check out for parts. Could list some of the things you can't find in the parts wanted section here.
