Hello hotrodders, you can call me PT......

I posted over in the paint & body section first...where are my manners?

Anyhow, I have a common project, a fox-bodied '83 Mustang GT that I'll be painting eventually and was looking for some knowledgeable paint product info and tips or advice.

I'd really rather have a more classic project, but classics are a bit pricey nowadays just to acquire before even considering a restoration.
I'm a semi-dedicated Ford guy...meaning I like all makes and models mostly, and I wouldn't hesitate to trade my current project for any classic musclecar that is mostly complete, but needs a total restoration.
But, seeing how I'm kind of 3/4 finished with my Mustang GT, I can't see abandoning it now............unless anybody is offering?

But really, I still have a long way to go....I've had the car for about 9 years (mostly garaged), rebuilt the engine 9 years ago...it probably only has about 5000 miles on it, but I've been acquiring all of the needed tools over the years as I've went, while raising a family on a modest (mid) income.
I had a chance once to scrap this project for a '71 Mustang coupe for very cheap, $1000, but the seller was obviously more BS than anything, so that evaporated....I was very disappointed.
And old Mopars are way out of my league dollar wise....damn, I should've bought that '73 Dodge Challenger for $600.00 back in the mid-'80s. lol.

    Anyway, great to be here!!
Don't hesitate to ask me a question...I might know a couple things.

Here's my daily driver....a lifted 2wd Dodge Ram pickup....it was plain jane when I started....I went a little gonzo, but not too much...and yeah, I know, it needs 35" tires. lol.
