    New Guy

hey guys....just wanted to say hello. my name is Tommy Lee Byrd and I'm from Dayton, TN. I'm 18 years old and in college for Auto Body Repair. I'm into anything fast. i've got a '64 corvette that my dad gave me. its got a 327 in it bored .060 over with flat top pistons. it has 2.02 heads w/ screw-studs and roller rockers. it has a B&M blower running 12.5 lbs. of boost. probly has around 550 hp. we've never dynoed it or ran it on the track. i would see what kinda time it would run but the rear end isnt strong enough to be able to take off hard. I'm in the process of building a new motor for it. its a std. bore 350 w/ forged flat tops, steel crank, 2.02 ported heads w/ screw in studs and roller rockers. comp cams blower cam with erson gear drive. its gonna have a victor jr. intake with a 750 holley. I'll be running a P-1SC procharger hopefully running 15 lbs. of boost. im hoping to make around 800 hp.

my daily driver is a '95 4 cyl. s-10. its lowered and has weld draglites on it. my newest car is a 1970 dodge coronet wagon. it has a 318 in it. its all original. i have lowered it 3 inches in the back and about 4 in the front. it has 56,000 miles on it.

well, that's about it for me. i think i'll enjoy my time on this board
