Hi all! New guy here.
Im new to the street rod scene. Ive had a couple of old trucks and am currently working on a Chevy LUV V8 build. Im trying to make it seem as much as a street rod as possible. What I would realy like to build is a 1920s bodied rod. Chopped, channeled, the whole 9 yards. The problem is that Im in my early 30s w/3 young kids. So Ill have to keep looking at my sketches and driving my pretend street rod mini truck until I can get a real rod. Other than car stuff, Im 34 w/ 6 & 5 yr old boys & a 2.75 yr old girl that are just awsome. Im a full time dad and part time detailer. I also teach a K SundaysCool class at church. 1 out of my 3 kids loves anything with wheels which I guess isnt bad odds. They all love to help dad in the garage though. Hopefully I will be able to post a pic of my "real" rod someday here. Until then Ill just hang out ang bug ya.

Wow! Closer than you think. I actualy live in Machesney Park. Nobody knows where thats at usualy so I always use Rockford. I live just north of the mall. Should have my truck driving in about 2 weeks. Ill be at the cruises at Beef-A-Roo and Hooters. Mini truck wearing primer grey w/ black guide coat and red oxide flames. Maybe well meet and do some bench racing.
It is a new aftermarket one, new, but not packaged. It came with the dipstick. Chrome, about 7 1/2" long with a bend in it.
SB distributor won't fit
