Cool New with a 23.....dodge that is.

Hey my name is Lance Wood aka Woody Wood. I live in Texas and own a 1923 Dodge Brothers. Its more of I gues what everyone is calling a Rat Rod....but Im not keen on that term due to it has no rats. But it does have a Red Ram "241". It is not near done and Ive never built a full car by myself. But when I saw the ol' Dodge I had to have it. I could see what I wanted it to look like the moment I saw it.....sounds like a sappy love novel . But Im in the Army , Im a recruiter so I have no true mechanical skills. But the best way to learn is to do it I figured. I get some pics of the ol' rod when I can then you can all have a peek. I also am building a 1984 Harley Sportster Chop. .... its not done either. But I jumped right into that one too, with no knowledge. But Im learning and I guess thats what counts....haha. Well thanks for reading my rambling on.......Woody Wood out........

Welcome to Club HotRod Woody Wood. Lookin' for the pics of the '23. Toss some in of the 1984 Harley Sportster also. Ya might want to head on over to our other site www.clubchopper.com where you'll find lots of help there on your bike build.

    Cheers,

yea well when I decided to buy the old Dodge , it was going to use a old max wedge in it. It would have really looked neat. But the more I thought of it I wanted to build this car the way it would have been done in the 50s. So thats why I chose the 1953 Red Ram 241. The biggest draw back on the motor is parts..... there are none! They are real hard to find. But once she is up and going I think it will be something no one else has.
