    Need Mopar Engine I.D.

I'm looking at a Cuda and the owner said he ?thought? that this engine was a 340. Are there any of you Mopar people that can identify it from this pic? TIA, Em

On the drivers side down by the starter. 340 would be cast into the block. hard as crap to see. Also on the front of the block drivers side just below the head, stamped into the block (easy to decypher on the web. The engine in your pic does have early 5 bolt heads but that does not make it a 340 by itself. Would be good to get a 1970 HP motor.
