Actually I'm not all that well versed on the new Hemis.

I did do a little research on them a while back when I replied to a question on another forum I visit. The guy wanted to swap a 5.7 into a mid 50's Desoto. My initial reaction to his swap was to suggest he go with an early Hemi, after researching the availability and price the new Hemis are going for, in my mind the engines look better and better as swap material. Heck I might even do one if someone will make a multiple carb intake for them .

To me this sounds like it could really be a fun project. As with any major swap project, do your research. there's a lot of good info on the site Bob referenced, and I would suggest you do an internet search to see what else is out there.

Plan everything out as well as you can in advance and go for it.
