Help with a slant6 mopar
I am getting a 70's volarie from a buddy for 2 cases of beer. It has a slant6 in it , but he had to advance the timing alot just to get the car started, I know the engine will need to be rebuilt but having to advance the timing is that a worn out cam? Just want to know what I may have to change and what I might be able to keep during the rebuild.
Does anyone have an idea what might cause the timing to have to be advanced like that?1949 Plymouth Club Coupe Still in pieces.
