Definately break it in. Same for me 2200-2500 for 20 min. Just did a 318 cam swap last weekend. Put in SSI's (PAW) version of the factory 340 cam in his 318. I was hoping the cam would be lumpier then it was, but it sure runs out strong.Dan Ouellette
