    Question difficulty rating

     



    how hard will it really be to change out my 6-cly to a 440 in my 69 cuda. can you give me a list of every part i need to make it run?
    and I have $3500 to do this project, do you think its possible?

    Lets see.. your gonna need a different tranny, because the 904s, or 727s behind the /6s have small bellhousings, so your gonna need a 727 B, and most likely new engine mounts, and perhaps a new k-member, you should be able to do it for under 3500, for transmission i would check out CRT Cope racing transmissions at http://www.coperacingtrans.com/, as far as engine mounts, check out imperial services at http://www.imperialservices.net/, and for distributors and ignitions try mancini racing at http://www.manciniracing.com, they are some of the best companies i have delt with for mopar performance parts and such, you also might want to get a new radiator., and as far as trans and carb linkage i believe imperial services can also help there. hope that helps
