Hi King. I have a .040 over 340 in my Challenger and the desktop dyno numbers ran out at about 436 HP if my memory serves me right. It is a '69 block with the stock steel crank and rods with 10.25/1 hypereutectic pistons. I am running the M/P 292 hyd. Purple cam. Harland Sharpe roller rockers on chrome shafts from Mancini Racing. I put on a set of Edelbrock 340 aluminium heads with Headman hedders with a larger primary tube size. My intake is a Weiand Stealth (which forced me to use a drop base air cleaner and then shim it up with a small spacer to clear the linkage and still fit under the hood. I should have just kept the old Torker....) On top I have a Holley 750 with bowl baffles and slosh tubes. My ignition is pretty simple, being a M/P electronic distributor and Chrome Box, a MSD Blaster2 coil, 8mm silicone wires, and a .25 ohm resistor. It has always been a very strong runner with only a few minor problems all related to low manifold vacuum (76 degrees overlap on that cam), so I have to play with the carb every once and a while. But Holley's lend themselves to tinkering quite well so it's never been a problem. I hope this was of some help to your project.
    Brian
