    there are stampings on the driver's side of the block in two places..the upper left side will tell you when it was cast,the series,whether it's a hemi or wedge and the next series of 3 numbers is the displacement..the final letter is body type... the lower pad next to the pan will give you the year of casting....if this is in a motor home it very well be a 413.....


    one more thing....big blocks have the pump mounted externaly on the driver's side..as you are looking at it..to the right....they are internaly fed..some aftermarket pumps like Milodon have external oil lines to the pan for pickup and some with the return as well..

    the 413 is an RB(raised block)
