    I would suggest to anyone storing a car over some time that you start it up every few weeks. Much better than just letting it sit there.

    I guess some of us on here don't fully read the first post. He said it has a new rebuild not a formally running car. Spinning the motor with the plugs out or coil out to get the oil pressure up defeats the purpose of getting oil pressure up with out causing damage from friction without oil.
    And pushing a manual trans car to do the same thing still causes friction before the oil pressure is up .
    Bottom line is he should get the oil around BEFORE he cranks it.

    Get a hold of Mike Kuhl----one of his old guys works for Caterpillar in the Vegas area--tell em I told you to call him---

    Again check for Mike Kuhl he builds superchargers--do a search for him or Kuhl & Olson
