 hey fellas i was wondering what 440 motors by year have better heads or what heads to look for i have a motor and i plan to rebuild it from block up for my scoutII the motor is a 74 i have to go mopar because the trany in my mut is a 727 chrysler tranny and mopar is my cheapest way to go with out changing all my drive line thanks guys FORDGUY?????

 I like 906 and 992's for street buildups. 904 and 953"s will do well also. Want some more info? Go here and check up on some decent info. http://www.440source.com/partnumberinfo.htmWhat if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

 Before you go to far please check which 727 you have . one version was made to bolt up to 340 ci and 360 ci 4 barrel engines ( or small blocks ). The other was for 383, 400 440 ci engines( big blocks ) Different bolt patterns where they bolt to engine.
