Something to keep in mind though Madgrinder....Swap meet doesn't mean rebuilt, jetted, choked, etc for your particular engine. Not to mention, good luck finding four 48IDA's for your streetrod that don't need a lot of attention from someone in the know, and then there's the linkage, which if worn or not correct, or....Expect problems.
Inglese offers complete packages to take the hassel out of tuning, and of course, even the plainest of webber systems look amazing as Pat said. So, if you want it to run well regardless of your personal understanding of tuning a single carb or four, and you want the best performance those carbs can provide, it costs money. But it's worth it!Brent Mills
