Rare 47' Cadillac only 25,800 sedans built in 1947. This Caddy has all the factory installed options including the underseat heaters as well as the dealer installed options. 99% complete project. car is currently assembled as the body and glass and some of the stainless / chrome all other parts are in dry storage. The car is in phenominal shape as it's been stored properly over the years, last tabs were 1965. Original 346 flathead motor is in the car and complete. Only minor surface rust is present on the underside. These cars have been averaging at auction between 50-100K restored based on quality and criteria. all parts not seen in pictures are being stored indoors that have been removed from the car in preparation for refitting and refinishing.

This is a must see, as other cars from 46 & 47 down in AZ have been going for 10-12K recently listed and sold on various sites WITHOUT any of the parts this car has as basically the body only. This is a restorer's dream to get a vintage car in this kind of shape and as complete as it is. you wont find another this complete and ready to go. The 47' was considered one of the best Cadillac's ever designed by Harley Earl as it was based on the 42 design and refitted with all the bells n whistles starting in 47'. This car has the original Automatic transmission still installed behind the motor, suspension and drive train are in, motor has been stored with heavy oil for preservation until it's time to give it a tune up and fire up.

    1947 Cadillac Series 62
    Style # 47-6269 (1947 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan & Coupe w/o Power Windows)
    Body # FW 9272
    Trim # 71 (Blue-Grey Dual Cord)
    Paint # 2K 2(Antoinette Blue) (K-Under Seat Heater)
Wheel Options (Antoinette Blue or Vin Red)

The K in 1947 is code for the underseat heater. The paint was originally Rinshed & Mason nitrocellulose lacquer with enamel used on the wheels. Some of the trim is die cast, some steel and some stainless steel. All of it was chrome plated even the stainless to give an even "Color". The military versions of the Cadillac engines in WWII were used in tanks landing craft and other vehicles.

Serious inquiries only, was asking 10K, but dropped the price down to $6250 or best resonably offer, I'll be willing to work out something on your gas for out of state buyers. detailed pictures are available for serious buyers only. No tire kickers or CL flakes. Buyer gets the Car. The parts, The extras and the Title. Were looking to move in the coming year so it's either sell it for what its worth or take it with us and build it custom. Clean Title in hand and bill of sale for the new owner. Just too many other projects in the works to give this car the attention it deserves.

Limited trade offers willing to accept: 1963,1966,1967 Chevy II w/ SBC of equal value or trade + cash to make up the difference. cars gotta be able to stop n go. issues minor only, no major rust or rot or engines with issues either. just a good strong daily driver, most seem to be right around that 3-4K mark for sale the last 6 months. Engine doesn't need to be some pro built either, ive already got one of those ready to roll into the car. You will need to bring a trailer, i'll help you load it of course. I'll also look at trading plus cash for a miller dynasty tig/stick welder with low documented hours prefer miller 350 but the newer 250 DX will do. Maybe even look at a late 60's muscle car driving project. been storing this next door at my neighbors to keep it under cover, all the parts are inside. my lease on space has run it's course so it's gotta go.
