Any interest in a 1965 LTD?
It is the first year LTD with the galaxie 500 emblems on fenders as well. It is a 4 door hardtop, no post between doors. It has a factory 352 thunderbird special,
91K original miles, rear seat is perfect. A whole lot of chrome, all present and in excellent condition. barely any rust, except for some surface rust, the only cancer is under the heater core. There is one very small pit in the drivers door for some reason. All the body panels are very straight. the hood has a dent from the front, and the fenders are out of alignment from a seemingly minor front fender bender. I have a replacement front clip that comes with the car.
all door panels in great shape, headliner is perfect except for some dirty places. The drivers door will need an armrest. the chrome inside the car has some rust.
floors are rust free, trunk is rust free, it even has the cardboard still on the sides of the trunk. the spare stowage sticker is still on the deck lid underside.
The car is gold? orig paint.
New windshield, all glass is good and operational. manual windows. Door glass has chrome trim on edges wing windows work smoothly as well.
new trunk seal
I am thinking $5000.00. I can have my daughter email pics, as I am comp illiterate.
brand new 6 ply tires, brand new exhaust, the bends aren't pretty, duals, the shop left out the "H" pipe. Brand new fuel tank. brand new carb, edelbrock 1406.
I have the original carb with the ford id. plate on it. the a/c cond is out of car, but I have it and another as well. I have a boatload of spare parts as well.
new brakes, new shocks. dang, maybe I shouldn't sell it!!Last edited by 662doorgalaxie; 08-12-2011 at 05:02 PM.
