History:
In 1989 after having owned this rust free car for nearly twenty years the owner took the car to
Lauens Rod Shop in South Dakota. There it was transformed from a nice stocker into a beautiful Hot Rod.
They did a fantastic job building this car into a classy looking and great driving Hot Rod. I purchased the
car in January of 2000. We enjoyed the car as is for a few years. During the winter of 2003-2004 I took
the car apart for a bit of an update. I replaced the engine and transmission. I rebuilt all the suspension,
converted the front drum brakes to disc. I also repainted the car its current two tone with flames paint
scheme. In 2008 we drove this car 13 hours in one day to get to the Goodguys Columbus PPG Nationals.
In 2009 I had the entire interior reupholstered to again bring the car up to date. We have driven this car
all over putting thousands of miles in the eleven years we have enjoyed owning her.
