1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2 V8
Hello Everyone,
I am listing this Mustang for my father in-law as his cancer has come back and he has decided to let this AWESOME car go. The Mustang is a 1965 Fastback with a V8 289 and C4 transmission. The car has had a total fram off restoration. All the sheet metal on the mustang is ALL ORIGINAL except the rear valance where the exhaust comes through. This mustang has LESS THAN 100 MILES since the total rebuild. NO ONE HAS DRIVEN THIS MUSTANG EXCEPT MY IN-LAWS!!!! I am not sure about all the in's and out's of this car so I am going to list my father in-laws email and phone number so you all can talk about what you want to talk about. Sorry about the photo's but the day I was at his house it was raining outside so the mustang stayed put. So has you can tell it was VERY HARD to get some REALLY GOOD photos of this car in the garage. The car has NEVER seen RAIN or Snow!!!! Car does have brand new kick panels but due to my father in-laws health they have not been installed. Also I do know that the car has a 1966 gauge panel as my father in-law did not like the 1965 dummy lights. Here is my father in-law's email address and phone number:
Email butchn62@yahoo.com
Phone 573-729-3705
My father in-law's name is Bill but everybody calls him Butch.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
