47 buick model 51 - partially restored, may part out

I'VE JUST REDUCED THE PRICE AND I'D COME DOWN A BIT MORE IF SOMEONE MAKES ME A CASH OFFER. CASH TALKS! I AM ALSO NOW CONSIDERING PARTING OUT IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST.

We have for sale a '47 Buick Special Model 51 4 door sedan. This is a car that was left in storage since 1956 by the orginal owner. The original owner passed away and his estate was sold with the car still in the shed it was stored in. The car was found and sold about 10 years ago and again stored by the new owner while he began restoring and collecting new parts for the car. After over 10 years of collecting parts and restoring parts of those parts and collection of parts for the car, that owner fell on hard times and sold the car to us. He estimates he has about $10,000 into the collection of parts and restoration of parts, re-chroming, reupholstery, etc. throughout those 10 years.

The car has the fenders and hood off but the doors and all glass are still on the car. All the body panels, fenders, hood, etc. are in nearly perfect condition. Here is a list that will go with the car that was purchased, replaced or restored by the last owner and this is only a partial list as I have not gone through all the boxes that came with the car. All upholstery is redone in Blue and the front and rear seats are still wrapped in plastic and sitting in our garage. Bumpers have been re-chromed. All the stock gauges and speedometer have been restored/rebuilt by a professional shop in the Los Angeles area and never been installed. The Clock has been restored professionally as well and still boxed, radio also completely restored and still boxed. A new gas tank & radiator are also included in the purchase. We also have the straight 8 Fireball engine which has about 30K on it and it is now bolted into the engine compartment. Complete new original style wiring harness. The car came with every piece of stainless trim and the previous owner purchased replacement trim for some of the pieces that were damaged. New tail light lenses were purchased. The original style battery (6V) was purchased and has never had fluid in it yet. All new rubber/weather stripping for the car from Steele Products including window rubber and whiskers, trunk and door seals, etc. New Carb, Fuel Pump, Distributor & Starter. Complete new brake system already installed all the way around and all new parts for the front end. All the glass has been replaced in the car, the rear windshield is out of the car but we have it. New water pump and generator. New tires with wide white walls have been installed on the car as well....And much much more. Below are some pics of just a few of the parts that came with the car. All the parts mentioned were restored or rebuilt by professionals. The original 3 speed trans is with the car with clutch and pressure plate. I believe there are also 3 original steering wheels included, one of them reported to be in excellent condition. We have all sorts of manuals for the car including a factory assembly manual. The previous owner told me there is not one part missing for the car. Over 10K invested in parts. If your interested...Contact us. Quite a few of these parts will also work on the 2 door version and almost all the parts will fit the '46 & '48 also. We even have a gallon of the original color paint. All you need to do is put the fenders back on, put the engine and trans back in, put in the interior and paint....you will have a BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC car! I am ready to sell....contact me with an offer! May be willing to part out if there is enough interest.
Might be willing to trade for a '30s or '40s Chev or other GM, Stude or Mopar of equal value.
