Nice looking car. What made you decide to go with the automatic?
If I had this car I would add a paddle shift kit, fuel injection and 18" wheels. I think I would also add some sort of screen/grill to the front end. I've always thought they needed something there. Has anyone seen one done like this?
BTW. Do you have to climb over the "doors" on the Cobras? I don't recall ever seeing one (especially a kit) with the doors open.
Are you interested in a trade? I've got a9 84 Porsche 928s, a 79 widebody 928 Euro, and two 1959 fairlanes. I need less projects and you need another. What do you say?

I have drag raced for about 25yrs and i have always used autos and if you have ever sat in a Cobra you will find that the foot room is VERY TIGHT, so with a auto i felt like i have the best of both worlds drop it in 1st and hang it out then shift up to 2 then 3rd or go to the drive up and leave it in 3rd and it is like everyother auto shifting. The paddle shift would be COOL

Fuel injection.... i thought about alot but i have never messed with it so i decided to stay with what i already knew.
Sorry but i am only selling, your cars sound nice.
If you know of anyone who has ever wanted a Cobra here is a nice one. I have never drove anything that people would yell and hang out of there car windows to see the Cobra and don't even think about a quick gas stop there is no such thing people flock around the car taking pictures.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
