    Maybe the duck is a negotiating point! (Actually, the duck is the handle on one of those fold-up umbrella things, and he might be persuaded to part with it).

    The car in not driveable. As I said, the man was changing the water pump when he got where he couldn't finish the job for health reasons, so I'm sure there's no pump on it. That was probably three years ago (maybe longer). He did tell me it needed an engine rebuild.

    As for what it would take to buy it, when I told that guy that $500 would probably make the owner happy, and $350 might, that was pure speculation on my part and I probably shouldn't have said it. I'll try to talk to him tomorrow to see if there's anything else you should know, and send you a PM with whatever I find out, if that's okay.
