1936 Chevy Rat Rod pickup project
Have a 1936 Chevy Cab. It's a solid cab with cancer in the lower rear and subfloor. Easy fix with some new steel and a welder. Has doors. Has nice dash. Has many of the original gages, levers and handles. Comes with a 1950's ford stepside bed with the fenders removed The width of the bed fits the cab. The bed is solid also. Comes with a 2 bolt main disassembled SBC 350 motor. Very rebuildable. I think a hone, oil pump, new bearings and rings and, and a quick valve job and this thing would be ready to rock. Has 4bbl manifold. Comes with a recently rebuilt Rochester quadra-jet 4bbl 650cfm carburetor. The carb has divorced choke. The project comes with 2 1960's camaro bucket seats. One needs recovered. AutoLoc mini bearclaw latches are included for the doors. I'm going to throw in a restored GM 10-bolt rearend housing also..... mainly cause I'm tired of it sitting around.
It's a damn good solid project, and this old tin is getting hard to find. Worth storing it even.
Price is $1300 you pickup. Consider partial trades of racing parts, engines, project cars, anything really.
The picture shows a mockup of the body and bed. I have more pictures for serious buyers.Last edited by johnny knuckles; 02-25-2005 at 06:47 AM.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
