I know I'm gonna catch it , but I want to put a modern v8 into my 54 88, sbc or later olds 400-455 w a 350 or 400 turbo.Original motor /trans is missing, But otherwise a complete solid car, Just plain not willing to pay the current going prices for gennie olds stuff , I want this car running now, not in a year or two when I can gather up all the rebuild/old hot rod stuff, besides the fact that I know sbc 's and do not old Olds motors/transmissions.Any swap kits out there ? maybe the old Hurst setups still avail.? are these chassis simular to the same 55-7 era chevy's? the car is not here yet.took it on a trade.
