I'll check that out, I'll also check the linkage ajustment. It seems that there might be too much play in the shifter linkage going to the trans and then have my dad check it. If you just put it into park than, it will jump out eventully if it's revved but if you move it up just passed park then back into park it won't jump out. I may just live with it this way until I have money to fix it correctly but if my dad says it's too bad then, theres no choice, I have to get it fixed. I'm pretty sure you can buy all the parts to repair yours from columns galore. I don't know about buying a new column, I've never done it, but I've repaired a bunch of them. It's not that hard, you just have to pay attention. The first thing I would do is to purchase a factory service manual for your car.
